Dream, 7 November 1998

Derek and I were packing to go somewhere for the weekend, and bad things kept happening. First I started to notice that dark patches were starting to appear on the ceiling, and I suspected that the water pipes were leaking. I noticed that it didn't look too bad as long as the water wasn't running, but we still needed to take showers and brush teeth and stuff, so the dark patches grew. Even worse, bulges were starting to appear in the walls, and they were growing. Soon water started dripping from the ceiling, and the dripping turned into a deluge. I tried catching the water in the trash can, but it filled up so quickly that I couldn't keep lots of water from soaking everything around the room. I think I tried to remove as much clothing from the room as possible.

I also remember looking in the mirror at some point and noticing a brown spot near the edge of one of my top incisors. I opened my mouth wider for a closer look and saw not only a cavity on that tooth, but on the other incisor a huge amount of the tooth had worn away. And worse than that, I poked out my tongue to find that there was actually a hole in the surface of my tongue, and I could see inside it. I closed my mouth in horror, but I had no idea what I could do about it.

Later on I remember driving around in what seemed to be a Yugo, and entering some sort of public house.
